Lava in Balaclava cemented itself as one of the hottest locations on Carlisle Street for breakfast and lunch and now with a brand new menu, we are open for dinner too!! Sunday through to Saturday. On weekdays we open at 7am and on the weekends we open at 7.30am. We are open almost every day of the year (only closing on Christmas Day).

Lava is not only a cafe by day, but a restaurant at night. We have revamped our kitchen and our menu to introduce amazing new lunch items, whilst keeping all your favourite breakfast items. We have an extensive menu with variety to suit whatever mood you may be in. Lava is family friendly and group friendly. We have 2 large communal tables to accomodate large groups (please give us a call if you are coming with a large group - 9527 2205). We prides ourselves in being quick and tasty.
